LOAD

We answer the phone.

Most integrators disappear after the invoice clears. That's the whole problem with this industry — plenty of people can hang a camera, almost nobody stays reachable when the system needs attention at 6am on a Saturday.

Mac's Tech is built the opposite way. Honest scoping, straight pricing, systems specified for what they actually have to do, and a real number that a real person picks up. The install is the beginning of the relationship, not the end of it.

DEVICE 01

Access Control

Card readers, mag locks, strikes, REX sensors, door position switches, and the controller behind them. Credential management that survives an audit, and a door that unlocks for the right person every single time.

Hundreds of openings secured

DEVICE 02

Video Surveillance

Cameras specified for the actual scene — the lighting, the distance, the field of view, the detail you'll need if something happens. Correctly configured retention, correctly designed storage, footage you can hand to an investigator.

1,000+ cameras deployed and managed

DEVICE 03

Commercial Networking

Switching, structured cabling, VLAN segmentation, PoE budgets that actually add up, and ongoing management. Every camera and every reader depends on the network underneath. This is where most installs quietly fail.

ORIGIN

Seventeen years of watching bad footage.

I've been a police officer for seventeen years. In that time I've sat in front of a lot of security video that was completely useless — too dark, too compressed, pointed at the wrong thing, or recording over itself before anyone thought to pull it. Cases go nowhere because of a camera nobody specified properly.

I started Mac's Tech in 2019 to fix that gap. I'd already spent two decades building and running large-scale networks, so I knew that a camera is only as good as the infrastructure carrying it. What I found was that the bigger shortage wasn't technical — it was people in this trade who'd tell you the truth about what you actually need.

That's the whole business. Straight answers, work done properly, and a number that gets answered.

“A camera is only as good as the network under it.”
